Welcome
Welcome to ICTMA23
The real world and mathematical modelling are intertwined, and ICTMA23, held in the heart of nature, will remind the local and international community of this connection. It will provide a golden opportunity for showcasing research, sharing ideas and taking part in discussions.
We invite all researchers, teachers and mathematicians interested in the teaching and learning of mathematical modelling to take part.
Diversity is a context-dependent phenomenon, and inclusive practices are largely informed by socio-economic, cultural and contextual factors. These factors also play a substantial role in the teaching and learning of mathematical modelling. Context gives meaning to diversity, and that will be the emphasis of ICTMA23.
We invite you to come and experience the drumbeat of Africa in the heart of the bush at Skukuza, Kruger National Park, in August 2027.
Dr Rina Durandt
ICTMA23 Chairperson
